If you don´t want to worry about the energy cost of dehumating your water, or you don�t need to heat your house every three months, I think you could consider using the same technique to dehyberrate your water when the air is cold outside and the water is cold in your house.
That way, you’re not adding more energy to your home and also saving money on the water you use.
